Project Leader(s)
Projects Leaders are responsible for all aspects of CAP. At least one Project Leader is required at each high school CAP serves. Project Leaders serve as the point person for guides with respect to all needs pertaining to the school or students at the school. In addition to fielding guides' questions and comments in those areas, Project Leaders are responsible for conducting the guide-student matches, facilitating Meet & Greet events at the school, and serving as liaison between CAP and the school. In partnership with Trainers, Project Leaders are responsible for recruiting guide volunteers and thereafter monitoring the progress of guides assigned to their school.
Trainers
For 2012-13, CAP requires at least two Trainers. After undergoing training through CAP, the Trainers will be responsible for maintaining the Guide Manual and conducting the guide training sessions during the summer. In addition to fielding guides' questions and comments at training, Trainers are responsible to help recruit students and guides for the following academic year. Including, speaking at the schools and encouraging students to join.
Accounting/Budget Chair
Assists project leaders and Admin team with the accounting and budget aspects of the CAP program. Basic Excel is the only experience needed!
Internal Communications Chair
The Internal Communications Chairperson is responsible for maintaining the minutes of CAP Administration meetings, collecting information to distribute to CAP guides, and formatting and distributing communications to CAP volunteers using Mailchimp newsletters and Facebook.
Events Committee Chair
The Events Committee Chairperson is responsible for managing a committee to plan and execute CAP events throughout the year, including Guide Assemblies. In partnership with the Internal Communications Chairperson, the Event Committee Chairperson is responsible to maintaining any Facebook invite pages for Guide Assemblies.
Data/Web Chair
The Data/Web Chairperson is responsible for maintaining and updating CAP's website and graphics; creating and maintaining spreadsheets and online forms using Google Docs; facilitating the data needs of other CAP volunteers using Google Docs and software such as Microsoft Word and Excel; and maintaining databases regarding CAP volunteers, students, and the statistical performance of CAP.
Public Relations Chair
The Public Relations Chairperson is responsible for all PR/media tasks, including development of a PR/media strategy, issuance of press releases and other external communications, and representation of CAP at community events. The PR Chair will be pivitol to recuriting guides throughout the community for the following school year.
Evaluation Chairs
Assist in collecting and compiling monthly data on the guide-student matches and how they are progressing. In charge of turning in monthly data to the YLC regarding volunteer hours and letting the Project Leaders know of any issues at their respective schools.
